Dr Joyti Vasudev

Joyti is our next level specialist orthodontist. She is a speaker for Invisalign, such is her level of expertise, and can carry out incredibly complex treatments using the Invisalign system. She also enjoys all other types of orthodontic treatment, including fixed brace treatments with metal and ceramic braces, and has a particular interest in complex surgical/facial treatments for patients with jaw deformities, as well as the more niche area of sleep apnoea device therapy.

She graduated from Manchester in 2007, having been awarded first prize for the National Harty's Endodontic Prize. After being awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties, she pursued her membership of Orthodontics by the Royal College of England in 2013, and achieved her FDS at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and Glasgow in 2016.

She was appointed an NHS consultant in 2016 and spent 7 years as a Consultant Orthodontist at the Royal Free Hospital. She was worked extensively in private practice in Central and West London and Kent.

She learnt her love of sleep apnoea treatment at the Queen Victoria and Guys Hospital, treating patients with mild to severe sleep apnoea with sleep splints that gave them an alternative to sleep machines.

She works closely with her surgical colleagues, carrying out complex multidisciplinary treatments, and is actively involved in education, sitting on the Faculty of Dentistry and Oral and Craniofacial sciences at Kings College. She's a keen high altitude mountain climber and adrenaline junkie, and we're very lucky to have her.
