Dr Monik Vasant

Dr Vasant is a globally recognised leader in the field of minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry, with over 20 years of experience. He is a Fellow of the College of General Dentistry and holds a Master's degree in Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry. Dr Vasant is also an active member of several prestigious organisations, including the Royal College of Surgeons and both the British and American Academies of Cosmetic Dentistry. As a faculty member at the gIDE Institute in Los Angeles and a visiting guest lecturer at the University of Geneva, he shares his expertise on a global scale. His role as the UK ambassador and global trainer for Invisalign further highlights his leadership in the dental field.

Dr Vasant has founded and developed leading dental clinics in both the north and south of England. He is the founder and clinical director of the Freshdental Clinic and Institute in Central London, where he focuses the majority of his clinical work.

Passionate about advancing dental education and patient care, Dr Vasant has personally trained thousands of dentists worldwide. He established the Freshdental Institute in 2016, which offers a wide range of postgraduate courses aimed at promoting clinical excellence. Among its most influential programmes are the globally recognised "Totally Composite" masterclass and the year-long "Totally Aesthetics" postgraduate diploma course. These programmes have educated over 5,500 dental professionals worldwide. The Institute's state-of-the-art London headquarters is one of Europe's finest postgraduate training centres.

With his diverse background, Dr Vasant connects with his students, offering a flexible and comprehensive approach to integrating his teachings into various professional settings. His teaching style emphasises simplicity, predictability, and efficiency, drawing from his extensive clinical and educational experience.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Vasant has contributed to the dental field through many mainstream media appearances and by co-authoring several dental publications, including his book, "Smile Art".

Outside of dentistry, Dr Vasant enjoys spending time with his family and has a strong passion for football and cricket.
