Composite tooth bonding can usually be carried out in one to two visits without any anaesthetic, and the procedure should take between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on how many teeth you’re having treated.
The first stage of the treatment is for Dr Shyam to select the colour of materials. At Freshdental we use only the finest in composite bonding materials from the leading brands. We also carry materials of all colours to suit your needs.
When the right colour has been selected, Dr Shyam will gently etch the surface of the tooth and coat it with bonding liquid which helps the bonding materials to stay on the surface of your teeth.
He will then sculpt the composite materials onto your teeth to create the perfect shape, and harden it using a high-intensity Ultraviolet light.
Once the material hardens, Dr Shyam will carry out any further shaping and give your tooth a polish, so it matches the sheen of your other teeth.
Composite bonding at Freshdental starts at £450 (£350 during our limited time offer) and will depend on your desired results, the current condition of your teeth, and how many teeth we need to treat. We do offer interest-free dental finance, our own practice dental plan, as well as a family and friends discount.
The composite bonding procedure should take between 30 to 60 minutes per tooth. However, if you’re having more than one tooth treated it may take a little longer.
We only use the latest high-quality bonding materials, so you can expect your composite bonding work to last for 5-7 years, depending on how you look after it, your diet and your bite. Sometimes it can last even longer!
